Isaiah 29, 30; Ephesians 6
Isaiah 29 tells of the siege of Jerusalem “Because this people draw near with their mouth and honor me with their lips, while their hearts are far from me..." (v.13). Isaiah 30 is a warning not to look to Egypt for help, and a condemnation for the peoples rebellion (For they are a rebellious people, lying children, children unwilling to hear the instruction of the Lord v. 9). Ephesians 6 gives instructions to children and parents and bond-servants and masters; it exhorts all to put on the full armor of God.Isaiah 29, 30; Ephesians 6
