Today's Verse:
The Bible you read from can have an affect. We suggest that you read form a Bible with clear fonts that are large enough that it is easy on your eyes.
When reading through the charges that God makes in Jeremiah against Judah and Israel, you can see parallels to our current country and time. Jeremiah 8:9 is one that stands out: "The wise men shall be put to shame; they shall be dismayed and taken; behold, they have rejected the word of the Lord, so what wisdom is in them?" (Jeremiah 8:9 ESV). In the second chapter of 1 Timothy, Paul encourages us to pray for all people.

For there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, who gave himself as a ransom for all, which is the testimony given at the proper time. 1 Timothy 2:5-6 ESV
