Today's Verse:

but they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength;
    they shall mount up with wings like eagles;
they shall run and not be weary;
    they shall walk and not faint. Isaiah 40:31 ESV

Today's Tip:
Rushed today? Read a chapter or two in the morning and the remaining chapters tonight.

Jim's Notes
Isaiah 39 contains Hezekiah's biggest mistake. Isaiah 40 tells of the greatness of our God. Philippians 4 is rich with exhortation and  encouragement. This chapter contains one of my favorite verses: "8 Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things" (Philippians 4:8 ESV).
