Jim's Notes
Isaiah 43 is God's message to Israel: "I am the Lord, your Holy One, the Creator of Israel, your King" (Isaiah 43:15 ESV). Isaiah 44 continues the theme, “I am the first and I am the last; besides me there is no god,"(Isaiah 44:6 ESV),  and ends with a promise to redeem Israel. Colossians 2 challenges the read to "therefore, as you received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in him" (Colossians 2:6).
