Today's Bible Reading for January 1

Today's Reading January 1 (Happy New Year!)
Genesis 1  (Listen & Read Along NIV or KJV)
 Genesis 2
Matthew 1 (Listen & Read Along NIV or KJV)

Welcome to the first day of a great adventure. We hope to build a community of truth seekers that will join us on a quest to read through the Bible. Here is where you will find tips to keep you on track. You will also be able to comment on your insights and share with others.

Today's tip is simple. Find a place and a time when you can be alone and simply read. Your goal is not to do a deep study of the Word but to simply read it and let it speak to you. We suggest reading in the morning but if that doesn't work for you that is okay. If you find you have the time to read ahead, do so because there will be those days when things will not go right.  The two key words to succeeding in this quest is PURPOSE and PRAY! Determine you are going to do this for the Lord and yourself and seek the help of God by prayer.

One last note -- I strongly suggest that you follow us by email. Sign up at your right. It's easy!
