The kingdom Israel is divided into Judah (the southern kingdom) and Israel (the north kingdom). 1 Kings 14 shares the prophecy against Jeroboam and the
record of this death. Rehoboam takes Reign in Judah. 1 Kings 15 gives us the account of Abijam
taking rule in Judah followed by Asa. Nadab the son of Jeroboam takes reign
over Israel and is followed by Baasha.<br />
