Today's Verse:
Try to allow yourself enough time to read with ease. Speed-reading is NOT encouraged. Allow time for the Spirit to speak to you.
In our NT reading today, James teaches that showing partiality is a sin and faith without works is dead. In Ezekiel 22, Israel is held accountable for the shedding of blood. In Ezekiel 23, "Ezekiel propounds another allegory. The two sisters are a tale of two cities: “Oholah” is Samaria, the capital of the northern kingdom, and “Oholibah” is Jerusalem, capital of the southern kingdom" (Source: Reformation Study Bible).
