Welcome to 2 Kings. It is good to remind yourself that the tribes of Israel have divided into a Northern Kingdom (Israel) and A Southern Kingdom (Judah). In our opening chapters of 2 Kings, Elijah opposes sin, is called home to heaven, and passes the mantle to Elisha. In John, John the Baptist Exalts Christ.
