In Daniel 8:1–12:13, "Daniel resumes writing in Hebrew for the last five chapters. He used Aramaic in 2:4 to 7:28" (Source: Reformation Study Bible). Daniel 12 gives us an account of the end. 3 John begins with a prayer for his brother in Christ, Gaius. This was a common way for personal letters to begin.
