The siege of Jerusalem is told in Ezekiel 24. So grave was the destruction that Ezekiel was told not to mourn the death of his wife. In Ezekiel 25 and 26, God pronounces judgement on the nations that surround Judah. Our reading in James today instructs us to watch our mouth.
