Today's Verse:
Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen. Ephesian 3:20-21 ESV

Today's Tip:
A notebook by you side will help you to stay on track. When you run across a passage that you would like to dig deeper into, mark it in the notebook and continue to read. You can come back to it after your daily reading or at another time study it.

Jim's Notes
In Isaiah 22, God pronounces judgement on Jerusalem, Jerusalem had trusted in Babylon during the Assyrian attack, but ultimately was taken into captivity by her former ally (Footnote from Reformation Study Bible). In Isaiah 23, God pronounces judgement on commercial systems that exclude God. Ephesians 3 reveals the mystery of the Gospel.
