Today's Verse:

My son, keep my words
    and treasure up my commandments with you;
keep my commandments and live;
    keep my teaching as the apple of your eye;
bind them on your fingers;
    write them on the tablet of your heart.

Jim's Notes:
With the increase of sexual immorality and adultery in our culture, you can understand why Proverbs spends so much time warning us of the consequences of sexual sins. Proverbs 8 addresses the blessings of wisdom; and wisdom makes this promise: "All the words of my mouth are righteous; there is nothing twisted or crooked in them" (v. 8 ESV). The Apostle Paul addresses the need for order in the worship service.
