Psalm 119 "is an acrostic of twenty-two stanzas, one for each letter of the Hebrew alphabet. The eight poetic lines of each stanza begin with the same Hebrew letter" (Reformation Study Bible). The Psalm expresses a love for the law and the failure of mankind to follow it. The Apostle Paul gets to he heart of the problem in the church of Corinth, Divisions in the Church, in 1 Corinthians 3.
