Today's Verse:
Praise the Lord!
Oh give thanks to the Lord, for he is good,
for his steadfast love endures forever!
Psalm 106:1 ESV
Today's Tip:
Read for the joy of it! “Sacred space and sacred time and something joyous to do is all we need. Almost anything then becomes a continuous and increasing joy.“ –Joseph Campbell
Jim's Notes:
Psalm 105 is a song of remembrance as found in verse 5: "Remember the wondrous works that he has done, his miracles, and the judgments he uttered" (Psalm 105:5). Psalm 106 is a song of thanksgiving. Romans 15 has three themes: 1) Christ Example for us; 2) Jesus is the hope for both the Jews and the Gentiles; 3) Paul's ministry to the Gentiles.
