Psalm 38 can be summed up in verse 15: "But for you, O Lord, do I wait; it is you, O Lord my God, who will answer. The Psalmist in Psalm 39 ask the Lord to remind him of how short life is. The 40 Psalm is a prayer for help. Our NT reading reveals a plot to kill Paul and has Paul Sent to Felix the Roman Governor.
