Today's Verse: (Psalm 1:1-2 ESV)

Blessed is the man
    who walks not in the counsel of the wicked,
nor stands in the way of sinners,
    nor sits in the seat of scoffers;
but his delight is in the law of the Lord,
    and on his law he meditates day and night.

Today's Tip:
Make sure you read with good lighting. Eye strain can cause you to lose the value of what you are reading.

Jim's Notes:
Welcome to the Psalm! Psalm 1 is a comparison of the righteous man and the wicked man. Psalm 2 is about the reign of the Lord's Anointed; and Psalm 3 is a Psalm of David written when he fled from Absalom his son. Our reading in Acts 16 gives us the account of Timothy joining Paul and Silas on this second missionary journey; and the Macedonian Call. For a map of Paul's missionary journeys, please Click Here.
